MAXIM LEO RECEIVES THE EUROPEAN BOOK PRIZE 2011
The journalist Maxim Leo is the 2011 recipient of the European Book Prize for his novel Haltet Euer Herz bereit (Keep Your Hearts Prepared). The British writer and Booker Prize recipient Julian Barnes, the present jury chairman of the European Book Prize, praised Maxim Leo as an equally entertaining and intelligent conveyor of German history.
