KNISTER IS AWARDED THE "GOLDENE FRIEDENSTAUBE"
KNISTER, author of the bestseller Lilli the Witch, has been awarded the prize of the Goldene Friedenstaube (The Golden Dove of Peace), which on previous occasions had gone to the Dalai Lama, Mikhail Gorbachev and Pope Benedict XVI. The reason was none other than the great support he had shown over many years for the rights of children, especially after the opening of the KNISTERschool, one of the first schools in Ottongkhua (India), which also managed to carry on with the help of UNESCO.
