IAN GIBSON RECEIVES THE 17TH FERNANDO LARA AWARD FOR THE NOVEL, 2012
Last Friday, the historian and Hispanicist Ian Gibson received in Seville the prestigious literary award, the Fernando Lara Award for the Novel, for his historical novel La berlina de Prim (Prim’s Berlin Carriage). This prize has been awarded annually since 1996 at the start of the Seville Book Fair, in the festive setting of an open-air dinner at the Real Alcázar palace.
